Funded by NSF, the ARC Network is an AWIS initiative that seeks to achieve gender equity for faculty in higher education STEM disciplines through an intersectional, intentional and inclusive lens.

AR/VR Journalism LabAt the AR/VR Journalism Lab at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism, they help journalists and non-fiction storytellers apply new virtual and augmented reality tools to their work. They offer public workshops and guides on new tools, classes for their MA students, and collaboration opportunities. The lab is a partner of RLab. Sign up for the AR/VR Journalism Lab mailing list.

Brooke DavidBrooke David is a creative strategist, designer, and curator who specializes in providing clients with bespoke strategies that drive audience engagement and conversation. She has managed and executed projects that support a variety of different endeavors, including media and digital campaigns, special events, exhibitions, and strategic partnerships. She is passionate about helping fellow creatives find new opportunities and platforms in which to share their work. Diversity in ActionDiversity in Action is a digital and print publication dedicated to supporting and promoting diversity in science, technology, engineering, the arts and math. They foster new ideas through articles representing diversity of thought, experience and perspective. They highlight individuals who identify as persons of color, those with different abilities, veterans, active military personnel, women and members of the LGBTQ community. They also examine topics and profile people who bring a diverse array of views and who nurture innovation regardless of how they identify themselves. UnleashedUnleashed conducts evidenced-based workshops about implicit bias discrimination to middle and high school students and training programs for teachers. Participants learn about implicit (and explicit) bias, its negative effects, and methods to limit its impact. Students can then explore how implicit bias can intersect with gender, race, and sexuality. Project Implicit––a non-profit consortium of expert researchers on implicit social cognition––reviewed the curriculum content specific to implicit bias to ensure alignment to current research.
